My residence permit requires me to visit the Swedish Embassy in Bangkok Thailand just to leave my biometric (btw you can do that for just one whole day!). So I was thinking, instead of just going there for my biometric why not get a tour package at the same time right? (personal and tour just in one!!) and of course I want to explore the place naman and see more of Bangkok, Thailand ๐
Suvarnabhumi Airport Bangkok, Thailand
When my family and I arrived in Bangkok, we proceed and check in at Salil Hotel at Soi 8. I will recommend this hotel a 100 % worth of stay. WIFI is good, excellent food and staff are amazing! better check it and say hello to the receptionist which is a Filipina too, yep! she is Pinay like me ๐ so its easy for us to get along with right? hahaha.
I would suggest you to book in this hotel if you will going to take your Biometric in Swedish Embassy in Bangkok. This hotel is not too far from the Embassy and it only take 10 minutes walk from hotel to the Embassy. I tell you, you will not regret staying in here and they have free breakfast that is buffet style hahaha which is I really love :) eat till you drop!!
Salil Hotel at Soi 8 :)
Breakfast is buffet style. There are lot of choice for those who prefer a more traditionally western breakfast. They also serve thai breakfast too. Pour your own coffee and make your own tea., juice or water.. :)
They run a golf cart to help their guest to drop to Nana BTS train station :)
We stayed 4D/3nights in Bangkok and I decided to allot one whole day just for my biometric process. I really wanted to make sure that I will not stress out on time and be rushed on everything. Guess what!! I finished it in just 10 minutes! in my surprise. I went there early in the morning just to make sure I am early (as they say "Early bird catches the worm), so 8am to be exact and I am the first applicant in the line. ๐ Good thing is that, Swedish embassy is only just 10 mins walk from my hotel. That is why I highly recommend this Salil Hotel.
My Queue Ticket show number 5 LOL im the first applicant ๐
Swedish Embassy in Bangkok 20th F, One Pacific Place 140 Sukhumvit Road, between soi 4 and soi 6 bangkok Thailand.
Biometric takes only for 10 minutes or less especially if you are early in the line and keep in mind that the embassy gets more busy in the middle of the day so better be early as much as possible. Embassy officer is really nice and accommodating just present your Beslut (decision) and passport to them and they will just take a photo of you, weight, height, finger prints and signature and that was it!! so easy! before you leave they will give you a information sheet where you can call to update your card.
After that ... the tour is about to begin! :)

I love to travel so much and visiting Bicol Region is really amazing and fun, worth it!! We did try wake boarding at Camsur , surfing at Bagasbas beach is awesome!!!!. Calaguas is so beautiful, the sand, the water, food is really yummy and people are really great!.. another one big check from my bucket list! enjoy watching :)
That was one trip I'll definitely treasure. The pristine water and beautiful beach of Calaguas is truly something to be experienced! I love Mayon Volcano of course as our backdrop on our Photo shoot hahaha :) I was so blessed to see this wonderful nature. I just couldn't and still can't get over how captivating it was!! It was a best birthday gift from my hubby!! a wonderful trip with my friends!!! I love Philippines!

I'm a type of girl who really loves fun and adventure, trying out wakeboarding is really new for me but hey! I did it and it was so fun ๐. It was not as scary as I thought but a little complicated for a beginner like me, but other than that it was a fun experience. Another check on my bucket list! Wake boarding makes my trip to Bicol Region so memorable and fun! ๐ You can visit their site here: Camsur Watersports Complex CWC
Nag-paangkas ang trip ko ๐
We were so lucky that time because the place is not crowded and we have so much time to enjoy the activity (as in want-to-sawa kami as in wakeboarding till you drop). When we visit the place is it currently under renovation due to the typhoon. I've noticed some broken cottages, the restaurant roof are unfortunately not well maintained and dilapidated, the glass door on the front desk won't close properly and the wood is rotten. Sink is broken and wooden locker room is not available. I must say they need a major upgrade and repair of that place. Restaurant was very slow and most of the food in the menu wasn't available (btw the Chinese Adobois really yummy and affordable). Some of the rooms are close and some of the lake is not operational (under maintenance I guess) in addition for that, the Mayon Volcano is in alert level that time so the place in not jam-packed. (see picture below)
ang mga batang masasaya dahil sa konti ang tao ๐
Visiting Dampalitan Beach in Quezon Province was a great experience, along with my office friends and newly found friends from SFC hehe :). I thought, camping can only be done on the mountains, but it's not! We had a great camping experience in Damapalitan beach.
Boat rates!
Our first destination was in Dampalitan Island where we had our overnight stay. The Island was just 10 to 20 minutes boat ride away from the main port and from afar the beach looks really inviting with its white sand and crystal-clear water plus the tropical view of the island with lot of coconut palms and evergreen trees.
KATIBAWASAN FALLS - (Camiguin Island, Philippines)
Katibawasn falls is located at the foot of Mt. Timpoong, 5Km(3.1 mi) southeast of Mambajao, it measures 250 ft high. down into a man-made pool surrounded by orchids and wild greenly ferns. Water is superb relaxing and really cold but not good for diving :). From downtown Mambajao, you can hire a habal-habal or multicab that will takes 5-10 minutes travel.
You only have to pay 20 php entrance fee (per person) to be able to see and experience the Katibawasan falls.
beautiful isn't it? :)
The waterfall is the best back draft for your photo shoot :P hahaha!
Kawasan Falls is located inside the mountain of Barangay Matutinao, Badian Cebu. From City proper it will takes about three hours bus aching ride to get there but if you have your own car or rented van I guess your time travel will takes only an hour or two. I so love this place, the water is so clear and cold.
This peaceful place is really worth a visit where you can enjoy many waterfalls!! yeah right! Kawasan has many waterfalls. From the entrance you will have to walk uphill to get to the first waterfall (picture above) is the largest one and on peak season it usually crowded. You need to climb uphill to see the second falls and the other remaining falls. Take note for the environmental fee cost 10 php per person. Don't take guide at the entrance they might charge you a hundred bucks!! believe me!! (everything has a fee!!..:P)
A happily ever after for me :). I so love castle they are so stunning and rich in history. Look at this ruins of Bohus fortress, still standing tall after almost 700 years of it's era. The walls looks strong and brave made out of grey stone and bricks. It was under renovation when we went there :( little bit sad but at least Matt and I we're able to check and roam around the place *wink!
Whenever we went to Gothernburg, we always saw this fortress from the highway. We've never been there although we've always passed on it so many times ( hmm how many times I did went to Ullared?? *counting!!) hahahahaha :)
when we get there, the Castle is under renovation so what we did is just roam and check the outside views :)
Windmills!!!!! What comes to my mind is Bangui Windmills in Ilocos Norte I know I haven't been there hehehe but I'm pretty sure that I will visit it if time permits. One of the best tourist spot up in the north (Philippines). Anyway, I know it's not literally called windmills like the Old fashioned windmills that I saw now. Because those giant Wind turbines in Ilocos which I think use generators to convert energy of the wind into electricity, while the old one here I saw do mechanical work, means no generators.
Windmills always fascinating me, specially when they are big and old :) I love them! It feels like I'm living in my own farmville with lots of lotss!!!! of windmill hahaha
Oppps I saw something !! Is that a windmill?
Seriously, I've always seen it from afar whenever me and boyfriend went out driving and I can't remember how many times I've said it to him "can we please drop-by on that windmill and have some photos?" hahahaha!! and finally he say OKEY!! LOL happy kid :P
It was so wonderful.!!
I'm Free!!! :)
This is Riddargardskvarnen, a pristine mid-nineteenth-century windmill :) A remarkable structure sight along the road. What I've read about it is that, before it was run as a flour mill and is now maintained by the local people since the owner died . It is open to public and they allowed tourist to wander around the site. What a great experience to see it up close :)
Windmill at Gammlia Museum at Umeรฅ, Sweden
They have also wind turbine along the road (they use it for electricity i guess)
That's for now guys!I hope you guys like my pictures until next time of adventure I'm gonna look and find more old fashioned windmills !! :)

My boyfriend and I always plan for an unusual things to do everyday and visiting old castle is always on top of our list ๐. Since we visited Grรคfsnรคs Castle and Lรคcksรถ Castle already we come up to look for another one and that is Tjolรถholm Caslte in Halland,Sweden.
Tjolรถholms slott, Halland
The Castle is open to the public throughout the years and you can check on their site for some calendar activities and some exceptional dates when they are close HERE IS THEIR SITE๐
What a lovely facade!
We went there yesterday because of their traditional large Christmas Market called Julmarknad pรฅ Tjolรถholm and this year is their 26th year. For a days, small shops and food seller from different part of Sweden visit there to sell their food delicacies and unique works. They also offer some free taste of their products which I really really like ๐ meats, cheeses, jellies, candies, nuts and julmust and many more.
We really like this different flavors of fudge yums!๐
The second castle we visit is Grรคfsnรคs Castle. This castle is very old. Originally built in the 16th century and according to an old tale/legend, this castle is cursed by a woman that was badly treated by the landowner. She cursed the castle that no family would own it for more than three generations, and cursed was laid upon it that it would burn three times with 100 years between each fire and so it did happened 1634, 1734 and 1834. They say after the fire in 1834 no-one bothered to rebuild it again and it has been a ruin ever since.
Me at Lรคckรถ Slott (visit their site) Amazing structure and they called it as "A pearl in the shores of Lake Vรคrnern" in Sweden.
I am a big fan of an old castle (any castle) and it always fascinating me :) Europe castle was indeed amazing they're so beautiful with rich culture and interesting stories to tell. It always gave me this great feelings about my childhood dreams and happiness.
To cut the story short,I promised my self that someday I will have a chance to see all the castle that can be found around in Europe (haha yeah right! I know it is a big dream at all) but who knows!
Puerto Princesa Underground River is indeed beautiful, a truly Philippines' great treasure :) When I saw this place, I realized how lucky I am to see this wonderful nature right inside our country and I am proud to say it that Philippines is really amazing *wink!!
Puerto Princesa Higlights :)
Anyway for those who didn't know: The Underground River/Puerto Princesa Subterranean River is now one of the new 7 wonders of nature. A UNESCO world heritage site and one of the longest navigable underground rivers in the world. Wow! Tours here nowadays are being regulated by the our government and if you wish to visit this tourist destination, you'll have to book in advance. Its so popular now and if you guys were planning to visit on a peak season well, think again hehe.
On our way to Sabang port and all you can see is a green leafy background with Limestone hills on the side
This post might be a
little late na po * nye! super duper late na pala kasi I went to Cebu last
year pa and I forgot share this amazing experience of mine haha I just
browsing my old photo album just now and saw this LoL!.. Anywai, when it comes to attractiveness tour, escapade and challenges
I think this one big whale is also on top of the list. Aside of it number of people
that have already spread the news about swimming with the whale and make some post about it, even reaches national television pa and featured on some documentary
channel as wel . But
it was truly a very great experience for me, SWIMMING with them is sooo FUN!!!!
wholla! is that me???... hahaha!!
The whale sharks were
beautiful, but their size makes them pretty frightening. Although I'm a beach
lover and a fish lover ever since but this!!, This one is really makes me feel quiver :P hahaha I don’t
know much about whales feeling ko nangangat sila hahahaha!! lOl do I look like A big plankton!! hahaha, but being near
the mouth of this whale hmm this shark!! is something that I find rather scary. Ok lng
sana kung they were just swimming along lang with us and minding their own business
na kumain lang ๐. But I and the whole gang were there, in THEIR territory,
and it would not be the whales fault if they accidentally sucks us in and
swallows us whole. hahahaha *paranoid lang.
It was really an amazing
experience because it was my first time to get near in a very big fish haha (
yabang ko noh,๐ kasi hindi luto yung big fish hahaha).
Spelunking at Sagada Cave is now my second favorite extreme adventure, next to
my intense PLUNGED experienced at Bohol last year :). Seriously, I’m not really
into spelunking lol or maybe I don’t know what it is or I guess I don’t want to
walk into darkness, take note 4-5 hours inside the cave
only with gas lamp (petrol lamp) hehe and since all my friends are into it and I don’t want
to be called chicken wings or whatever they call it…so I go with them for the
sake of friendship hehehe :P BUT I tell you…its really worth it.. *wink
[Sorry for the quality of the picture :P medjo malabo. po] My friends and I at King's Curtain
My friends and I planned for another vacation this year and we decided to conquer SAGADA :). Since we will going to have a long holiday vacation on end of the month of November, we figured out that this is the best time to visit it :) (I agree because I never been in SAGADA. It always been a dream for me to visit that place, I only saw it in a documentary program in GMA 7 before, i think that is iwitness.) So here it goes they booked a package tour @ PARANA tours for 3,200 petot per head for 3Days/2nights of stay) .
All of us were really excited for the long road trip via a small opps big van. A very long butt-aching ride before we reached our final destination lol :P. Good thing we had some several stop- over to discharge, refill our stomach and empty our bladders *wink. Tip: You have to prepare (5) five peso coin to be able to use a comfort room or else "sa bukid walang papel" hahaha.
I heart Sagada so much, the moment I laid my eyes on its magnificent scenery I can say it is indeed beautiful... I know in my heart it is a paradise :)
My trip to Davao this year had been my second time around in Mindanao, first was in Camiguin and Cagayan de Oro. We manage to had quick side trip to Samal Island, which was five minutes boat ride from the city. We just want to see the the famous Bat cave and Hagimit falls ๐.
My friends and I at Davao International Airport
