MOIST BANANA BREAD WITH ALMOND NUTS

[WATCHinHD] Hello Superfriends! I'm back sa balakubak! Today is a quick tutorial on homemade banana bread with Almond nuts :)

EASY RECIPE | BANANBRÖD MED MANDELNÖTTER

☀INGREDIENTS 

1½ Cup All Purpose Flour (shifted) 

½ tsp Baking powder 

1 tsp Baking Soda 

½ Cup MilK 

2 Eggs 

3 pcs Mashed Bananas (Overripe) 

1Cup White sugar 

1 tsp Vanilla Extract 

1 Cup Almond Nuts chopped (Dr Oetker hackad mandel) 

150g Melted Butter (I used salted butter)

(add ½ tsp salt IF YOU USE UNSALTED BUTTER)

Bake for 50-60minutes at 350°F (175°C), or until a tester inserted into the center comes out clean.

BUDBUD NA NIYOG - How to make TOASTED COCONUT FLAKES

Hello Superfriends! I'm back sa balakubak! Gagawa tayo ng Budbud na niyog or Toasted Coconut. Making toasted coconut is a very simple process and it's easy to make it on your own rather than buying the one already made in the store.  

Ingredients: 

- Fresh grated coconut meat or dried coconut strips 

- 1 tbsp of sugar (white or brown sugar) 

You can use it as a toppings on your favorite kakanins (a filipinos sweet delicacies) such as sapin-sapin, kutsinta, palitaws, etc.

On the Stove: In a wide skillet combine the fresh grated coconut meat or dried coconut strips with 1 tbsp of brown sugar and mix thoroughly (add more sugar if you like it more sweeter). Put it on over a medium heat. Cook, stirring regularly for about 1 to 3 minutes or coconut begins to brown. Turn off heat and continue to cook, stirring regularly, in the residual heat until mostly golden brown. Remove immediately from pan and allow to cool completely.
