How to Clean Vintage Louis Vuitton Mini Montsouris

I am so happy when I got my first Mini Montsouris (PM), I bought it last month as a birthday gift for my self and I'm beyond so lucky to purchased it in a really good price. Since this version of the bag is already discontinued and no longer sold in stores, you will most likely be buying it in a pre-loved market or any consignment store online (where I got mine) like Thebrownpaperbag, Fashionphile, Vestiairecollective and the RealReal. But if you are looking for the very best bargain I’d actually recommend you checking out some Facebook resale groups like  LV Addicted–Buy Sell & Chat but you can always send photos to a third party authentication service to be sure if your bag is real. Aside of that you can also find tons of vintage bags selling on ebay, but like I said it's up to you to take the risk buying pre-love bags online.

Scoring a deal on a pre-owned Louis Vuitton Bag is really a great feeling, but let admit it that sometimes the affordable price tag comes with a little wear and tear unless you get super lucky to find one that is in pristine condition and nowadays the price of this bag range around 500 up to a thousand USD (and the price depends on the condition of the bag). As for me, my bag is made in the year 1999 and it is 20 yrs old now. When I received the bag it was not in great shape but not that bad at I cannot use it. The canvass on the top of this bag is a little bit scrubbed but all in all it only needs a little reconditioning and cleaning (the vachetta is little bit dry and it has this musty smell on it that I really don't like).

Personally, I really love the vintage look of this bag and I'm not too concern of having a dark patina on the straps and handle, what I am aiming for in this bag is to get rid the musty smell, conditioning it and make the hardware look shiny again. Please note that it is only my experience I am sharing and not a professional advice (do your research). Also I am not an expert on cleaning leather goods (this is just what I have done and also what I saw others doing; and it works!). If you choose to follow or use the products that I mentioned here : advice at your own discretion/risk.

I'ts All soul's day

November: Exact month where we celebrate All saint day and All soul's day. This is a national holiday for the entire country to pay respect to the dead ones. Some people went home to their provinces to visit the graves of their loves ones and for us, this is the day we can spend time to visit my father. We usually do this yearly ๐Ÿ˜Š. My mom said that we should continue to take care and remember those we love even after their are gone ๐Ÿ’“.

We show our love to them by offering flowers, prayers and even food ๐Ÿ˜‰ . I don't know why but my mom used to do that.. anyway just to share.

Our pinoy version of All soul's day (Undas or simply called Araw ng mga patay) is kinda different because everyone keeps the tradition of going to the cemetery and spend the whole day with their love ones. Kids loves undas too, wherein they can play and make some candle balls. I remember when were kids we used to collect melted candles and sell it .

go for the TeA :)

Me and the rest of my family really likes coffee and switching into a new brand of beverage (which is TEA) is kinda unusual for me and recently, I found an article that drinking tea may help reduce weight ๐Ÿ˜‰ Well, why not try it!

I know, I need to reduce my sugar intake na so meaning less sweet. I am now drinking 3 cups of tea a day, no milk and no sugar or even no lime at all (no calamasi or any sweet honey on it just pure ๐Ÿ˜‚) as what my 3 days diet requirements (tea or water) lol :) hahaha

I used to hate tea before and I am not a tea fanatic at all but only the one that is called processed tea. Cold tea that you can buy in a local supermarket with different flavors too. I know lots of people loves tea and I respect that and I really do.. that's why now I'm one of them now LOL :) I love tea!! :)

yummms! tea and pankaka is ๐Ÿ’œ

My white sauce CARBONara (Macaroni) ^_^

My new recipe in this blog!!... lol :) yep (you can buy instant carbonara sauce in the market). Carbonara has been very easy to make. :P

I only know that macaroni was supposed to be cooked in lots of cheese and mostly baked style, but hello.. we don't have oven to do that...LOL. so  let's make some alternative recipe hahaha :)

My macaroni carbonara (opps kulang ng sauce haha :) but yummy!!)
hmmm what I need to used to cook this meal?
Ingredients:

3/4 cup of Macaroni ..if you only have a macaroni because any pasta will do for this recipe.
(You can use any type of pastas, and you can adjust the amount of pasta you want).
1 teaspoon of oil (some use Olive oil.. but that's expensive.. use butter too para lalong masarap)
1 clove of garlic and onion,
4 pcs of sausage or bacon, sliced (we usually use slices bacon, but we don't have any in the fridge that time but a HAM and HOTDOG...lol)
1/2 cup and 2 tablespoon of Cream (we use nestle cream)
1/4 cup grated Cheese
2 pack of delmonte CARBONARA sauce (easy sauce)

1) Put macaroni/any pasta into a pot of boiling water with salt
(Usually my mon do that and everyone do as what the packet has instructed hehe) :P
2) Heat up a frying pan, and pour in the oil or butter (don't let the butter burn or else your
carbonara will definitely looks brown hehehe).
3) Then add in the garlic and onion. Fry until fragrant, not brown.
4) Add in the sliced sausage or bacon.
6) Drain the pasta up once they're ready.
7) Add the pasta into the pan which contains the garlic and sausage.
8) Pour in the cream and the carbonara sauce, put cheese, and toss them over low heat. Do not
overcook or else your pasta might get saggy.
9) Finally add in salt and pepper to taste
.

pREsENTING!@!!!!!  My macaroni Carbonara is ready! Hmmhmmm, though it doesn't taste as nice as when there's bacon in it I'm still fine with it.. best merienda so far with hot coffee :). I'm craving for a carbonara so pwede na yan!! hahaha enjoy my come what may recipe :)

I want free coffee :), but for now it's not a scam :) it's absolutely free!!

Surprised! yes, me too!!!.... How I wish Mcdo will offer again this kind of promo.. Free coffee for a coffee lover like me hehehe :) (picture: I just came across to that picture when i was browsing my old album hmmm maBlog nga Lol!). This promo ended up last August 12,2011 for five (5) days.

Seriously, I often buy coffee from any establishment .. really! swear!! I would rather make my own coffee that will satisfy my taste than to buy an expensive one (haha can't afford lang pala!! haha joke!!).... haha but what else the reason why i hooked up on this promo..hmmm mybe because it's LIBRE haahaha!! kidding! well, masarap naman yung kape sa totoo lang :) and free creamer pa!!.. actually i got two coupons pa nga eh hahaha  :)

Can you imagine .. you dont need to avail any minimum purchase just to have a cup of coffee... (reg price of it is 25 php) diba pila kape sa mga MCdo hehe dahil libre! :). Their MCcafe premium roast coffee is made up of 100% pure arabica beans. (i just read that on the coupons haha!) It's really smooth when you drink it and you can actually smell the nutty toasty aroma of it, a perfect coffee to start our day. Now i missed it!! hehehe

So be alert!!...Be on the lookout for the Mcdo's crew ... they might distributes again some coupons  for this kind of promo! How I wish!! hehehe :).!!   :-)

Whitewater Rafting Experience | Cagayan De Oro

Are you afraid of the Rapids ?
yell! hell yeaH!๐Ÿ˜Š but yes, I overcome this!!

Here it come!   so exciting!!
Have you ever heard whitewater rafting at Cagayan De Oro?
Yes?, if you are updated it was actually visit and tried by our past president and tourism secretary several years ago to promote Cagayan de Oro's top adventure activity.

picture: me with PGMA in the picture
We booked package activity that includes zipline and rafting with free lunch. The package cost around 2,400 php per person including all ride zipline and a 4 hours whitewater rafting which I think is really a good deal. I'm so scared coz that was my first time doing whitewater rafting and I didn't have any idea how to do it pa.  Plus, I heard some story pa na natanggalan daw sila ng ipin dahil sa tumama ang mukha sa mga bato or naipit sa ilalim ng rubber boat something like that! whaaa parang gusto ko na nga magback out that time pero naisip ko palng yung 2,400 na ibinayad ko hahaha bumabalik yung mga paa ko! hahaha ๐Ÿ˜‚

My super team CDO
Good thing about this activity is that you don't need to form a group just to do whitewater rafting. All you have to do is book a trip to CDO and go directly to the company that offers this kind of activity, and they'll pick you up from your hotel and drive you to the destination (Cagayan River). Don't worry if you're just one or couples because they will re-group you with other guests.

CAGAYAN DE ORO, Philippines - Escapade to South ๐Ÿ˜Š

Cagayan De Oro locally called as "City of Golden Friendship". A city that lies along the northern coastline of the island of Mindanao. Southern part of the Philippines. I'm proud to say na nabisita ko ang probinsyang ito actually in this trip is sabit lang ulit ako hahaha (ThankS Elsa for the plane ticket and got a chance to explore CDO!! haha)๐Ÿ˜‰

Enjoy and FLY!! :)
If you are a kind of person who like ADVENTURE try to visit CDO. Visit www.dahilayanadventurepark.com and experience the Asia's longest Dual zipline, White Water rafting and more. If you like to to conquer you fear in height, in water, or simply a fear of riding a HABAL-HabaL visit this place. Want to see the pineapple plantation and eat fresh pineapple.. it's all here at Cagayan De Oro!!!. Opps share ko lang :) I lost my cellphone pala sa van going to CAmiguin.. thank's GOD mabait si manong driver at sinauli nya yung cellphone ko na kahit na ang cellphone ko eh hindi camera phone eh ibinalik pa rin nya..:) totoo ngang City of GOlden friendhip sila :D binigyan nalang namin ng pang-gasolina si manong in return sobrang bait nya at napakaswerte korin (di naman full tank ha! can't afford yun eh lol) anyway Thanks manong driver kudos sa iyo :)!..

For more than 2 1/2 hours travel time by bus (take note ordinary bus) from Balingoan port to CDO was a really nice experienced to us.

Best of CAMIGUIN, Philippines

After we explore the beauty of white island , we all had to go back to our cottage  for  a quick lunch before we finally visited all the other notable tourist spots in the area.
Enjoying the day!! I really like this picture.. it looks like we are free and happy!
FIRST STOP OVER: Catarman Church Ruins (Gui-Ob Church). According to wiki search the Old Catarman Church Ruins is located in Bonbon, it was the remains of the 1871 volcanic eruption that wiped out Catarman which was a picture of the illustrious Spanish settlement that was established in 1697, only the adobe walls and belfry was left as of today that survived the devastating wrath of nature. Nakaka-amazed yung structure kasi sabi ni manong tourist guide eh gawa daw sa corals yung church which is true nga :D
My travel buddies @ Old church ruins

Activity you can DO | Camiguin, Philippines

I was there last July 14-17 this year and I was truly amazed by its own beauty. To Start with:

view from white sand Island
Do you believe it this island called Camiguin has 7 (seven) volcanoes. Right! as in pito! SEVEN. Amazing right? ๐Ÿ˜‰Not only that!. Because the island is so small that you can actually tour the whole place in just one day hmmm or maybe it's depends on how fast your hired driver is you can tour the whole island in just one day! hehehe tiyak malilibot nyo ang buong Isla ๐Ÿ˜‚ at dapat huwag nyo kalimutang sulitin ang pagbisita dito.

Well, how to get there? First, if you’re coming from Manila like us, you'll have to take a flight going to Cagayan de Oro City (check for a promo seat from CebuPac or Airphil mas makakatipid!).

If you like to go there with your friends or family it's nice to booked package trip. Cebu pacific and Airphil offer this package just check their site ๐Ÿ˜Š

Camiguin, Philippines “Come Again”

Camiguin, Philippines
Try to visit Camiguin ๐Ÿ˜Š A Hawaii version of the Philippines. Wherein there is lots of  mountain and active volcanoes that offer nice view on the Island. This place is really blessed on its cultural, and rich historical treasures that you will never forget. I should say Camiguin is indeed beautiful and I will call it paradise ๐Ÿ˜Š
