APPLYING DUAL CITIZENSHIP (PHILIPPINE-SWEDISH)

Sweden permits dual citizenship, dual citizenship means that you are a citizen in more than one country. If you become a Swedish citizen, you may retain your foreign citizenship if the other country permits it. But in our case, based on our Philippine Constitution, once a Filipino citizen acquired a new citizenship (Naturalization) from another country, you will automatically lose your Filipino citizenship. However if you wish to retain your Filipino citizenship after being naturalized in other country, you have to apply for the re-acquisition / retention and take an oath of allegiance. This all can be done by visiting the Philippine Embassy or consulate in your country.

DISCLAIMER GUYS: This is only based on my experiences and my little knowledge that I gained through out the years. Please also NOTE that requirements often change. The information I stated here is for guidance only and should NOT be regarded as legal advice. IT IS VERY important that you verify all information through the legitimate government website before making any decisions or plans. Remember that the results is always depend on your particular situation, the time prior on applying, time-frame and decisions are varies as long as you meet all the criteria they needed. All opinions are honest and my own! Feel free to ask question and NO complicated hard question please!. I try my very best to answer you back 😊.

Want to know the benefits of having Dual Citizenship (Filipino and Swedish) you can check the website of Philippine Embassy:

Since the Philippine embassy in Stockholm is now closed, the closest Philippine embassy that serving consular services to all Filipinos in Sweden is in Oslo,Norway. So my advice to you is to do a lot of research first or plan ahead (maybe call them on the phone to inquire) before driving all the way to Oslo just to apply for your dual citizenship. By the way I decided to renew my passport and change my surname as well.

FIRST TIME SOAP MAKING | ORGANIC MAKERS | TAGALOG

[WATCHinHD] Hello Superfriends! I'm back sa balakubak! This video is not a tutorial. I just only want to share my first experience in making a handmade soap. I'm soo freaking proud of myself! Woot woot! I cannot believe I could make my first ever handmade soap πŸ›€. I always wanted to try making my own bar of soap and watching tons of soap making videos help me to pursue doing it. So here I am sharing you all guys the result of my fist ever soap making experience, what a fulfilling feeling when you saw your soap looking perfect when you removed it out from the mold.

By the way I followed Organicmaker's recipe w/c is classic bastille soap with lavendel. It is all natural lavender soap-coconut and pure olive oil πŸ‘Œ and it smells amazzing!. They used Olive oil that is a common base oil used in soap making and it makes a nice hard bar of soap, it is also very mild, and in combination with other oils will give you a nice dense lather. On the other way around, the coconut oil is an excellent moisturizer for both skin and hair. The properties of the coconut oil also help remove dead skin cells and dirt away from the body, that is why they are both perfect combo for your soap.

Bili na kayo Chos!!! LOL So lets start making this soap!

INGREDIENTS:

149 g Water
64 g Lut NaOH, Sodium Hydroxide

OILS / FATS: 135 g Coconut Oil
315 g Extra Virgin Olive Oil
8 g essential oil lavender
1/2 tsp Decadent plum mica
2 tbsp (5 g) Dried lavender flowers

RECIPE DETAILS:
Total amount of oils / fats: 450 g
Of which:
Olive oil: 70%
Coconut oil: 30%

Overfat 5%
Lye concentration 30%
Water: Lut ratio: 2.333: 1
Additives: about 15 g
otal weight soaped: about 678 g

HOME-MADE SOAP SUPPLIES

Hi guys! Its been a months now since I update my blog and I almost forget that I have a  blogger account LOL. I realized  that I am so occupied these days with all of task here at home and if happens you live in a country side like us, well you know what I mean. Ugh!🀷‍♀️ It seems like our whole summer/vacation is none other than house-wood-garden and vice versa! plus summer here in Sweden is so scorching hot! and it makes me feel so lazy at times when #katamaran attack. But even though I am busy at times, I'd still manage to spend a little time watching some youtube videos at night πŸ˜‰ and I find myself watching hundreds of soap making videos online. I also noticed that most of them started making soap as a hobby and turn it into a business after a years of soap making. Watching them making big batch of soap makes me think it is so easy especially those who make a fancy and perfumed soap with different kind of essential oils and herbs on it (and if you check my website history you will know that most of them is all about soap making site! oh I'm obsessed about soap).

Am I weird? that I find it so satisfying to watch them making colorful swirl, pouring and cutting their own home made soap 🧼 hahaha! It is so addictive that eventually, I decided that I had to try my hand at making my own soap... well why not.. right?

I bought my supplies in Organic Makers website

Soap making is something that has always amuse and interested me. I had been wanting to try it for a very long time but I didn't know when and how to start it,  so I did some research, and found a lot of soap-making tutorials online and I spend late at night watching many youtube videos on how to make a soap from the scratch, how to calculate your ingredients and things to consider in making your first batch of soap. I can say that it is so challenging, exciting and fun! by the way I learn the basics of soap making and I think am ready! LOL.

So finally! I decided to buy my first ever soap making supplies in Organic Makers website πŸ‘ˆ (see picture below) and for those who don't know what Organic Makers is, it is Sweden's largest website for DIY organic skincare where everything you need in making skincare products is in there. They sell all natural/organic and sustainable ingredients in making skincare products plus they come  in much more affordable price.

There are also a few things in the photo that comes from my own kitchen.
(Spatula, electric mixer, wooden spoon, scale and gloves). I bought the safety goggles in Biltema.

Since the site also offer simple recipe too which is the: COLD STIRRED SOAP: CLASSIC BASTILLE SOAP WITH LAVENDER,πŸ‘ˆ I decided to make this as my first intro in soap making because it is only a small batch of soap to start with  plus it is so cute and has lavender scent on it (good thing I love lavender too!) So I bought all the ingredients need in this recipe and whoa! it just came yesterday.

Here is almost everything I bought in Organic Makers to make my home-made soap: Let's start with the necessary ingredients, you will need the fats (usually oils and butters) it depends what kind of oils you would like to use on your recipe. You will also need pure sodium hydroxide, also called soda liquor or just lye or pure caustic soda.  For my lavender soap recipe, I need to have pure olive oil and coconut oil.

If you choose to color or fragrance your soap, you will need soap/skin-safe colorants and essential or fragrance oils that are safe for the skin. I bought these Apelsin and Lavendel essential oils. For colorants the recipe need Decadent Plum Mica and Radical Orange.

You may also get some other soap/skin-safe additives as per your recipe, examples of additives are herbs, honey, milk, oats etc. I bought dried marigold and lavender flowers.

You'll need some measuring jug and weighing equipment, some practical measuring jug and beaker for mixing your lye solution. Lab jug that I bought is made out of food-approved PP plastic and it is heat resistant up to about 130 degrees. It is also has long handle to provides a good grip while mixing lye and oils.

You also need a electric mixer/blender to speed up the process else a whisk will work too but it take hours to achieve soap emulsification (when handling the lye solution). You also need some safety equipment like rubber/latex gloves to protect your hands, eye goggles to prevent splashes getting into your eyes, as well as long sleeve clothing and covered shoes to avoid spills (safety first!).

Lastly,  you'll need a mold for your soap. As you can see I didn't buy any mold because my husband insisted to make one for me. I wanted to buy the silicone one but they are expensive.

I read online that you can also use any empty rinsed milk carton and a sturdy shoe box with a trash bag on it. Some use homemade PVC pipe or wood. There are many styles of wood and silicone soap molds available for sale on the internet it depends what shape you'd like to your soap.

I guess, I am all set and ready to make my first batch of soap! I'm so happy that I have all my supplies ready and I cannot wait to start it now but for the mean time I have to finish my homework first LOL! Our wood pile need to sort it before summer ends then I'll make soap πŸ˜‰. Let me know if you also like home made soap or if you ever tried making soap at home. any advice for a newbie like me.. Thanks!
