Sweden here I come - (NAIA terminal 3)

Today is my big day! Sweden here I come :)

After all the hardship I have been through in processing all of my documents..finally!! I can say at last!!! hehe with my tickets, certificates and approved visa I knew there was no turning back. This is it! 

Moving to a foreign country is one of the biggest transitions I can ever make. Thinking about the place without a good job and not knowing single word of their language is really frustrating and hard for me. I know I made my decision right and whatever comes my way I will take it as a new experiences and challenges. Anyway to cut the story short here I am again, traveling all by myself. I just want to share you guys what to do before your international flight para maiba naman :)

Departure date: Oct 26,2014

Departing from NAIA terminal 3 is really annoying mapa-ano mang terminal kayo make sure to check-in as early as you can po nowadays! sobrang traffic pa papuntang airport at ang mga mahaba-habang pila na iyong dadanasin bago ka makasakay sa eroplano mo eh sakit kagad ng ulo para sa mga first timer dyan eto ang maibibigay ko na tips!.. hehehe 

Important things to remember before our departure date:

1. You need to be at the airport at least 2 hours before you schedule departure time. Mas maaga mas maganda para mas marami kang time to check your things :) kasi in case you forgot something important at home, you still have time to go back and get it diba.

2. DOCUMENTS - Passport, printed flight itinerary/tickets, visa and CFO certificate. Lahat ng importanteng document nyo dalhin nyo na :) ilagay nyo na ito sa isang envelope.

3. MONEY - Don't forget that you need to pay 550 for your terminal fee and 1,620 php in cash for your travel tax only if you bought your ticket online. (Bago kayo mag check-in magbayad muna kayo ng travel tax dahil minsan mahaba ang pila don)

4. PEN - wala po kayong mahahagilap na ballpen dun na libre at nakakalat.. depende kung manghihiram kayo sa ibang tao. Sobrang hassel kung pproblemahin nyo pa pati ang ballpen lang :) baka ito pa ang maging dahilan at maiwan kayo ng eroplano nyo hehe

What to do upon check-in in NAIA terminal 3:

1. Pay your Travel Tax - Makikita po ang travel tax counter sa dulo ng terminal. 1,620 pesos per person at ipapakita nyo ang passport nyo at ticket. They will ask you where your destination and you will get a receipt. Don't lose it po :) (please see picture below)

2. Get a copy of Immigration Form (Departure Card)- Nasa check-in counter po ito makikita. Accomplish one copy per person and you need to answer all the question in the form (exact address, country of destination,purpose of travel etc.) Answer it while nasa pila para mabilis ang proseso. (picture below how departure card looks like)

3. Check in - Present your passport,visa,travel tax receipt and printed ticket. After you check-in all your baggage,the crew will give you your boarding pass ( if may connecting flight kayo.. wag magtaka na dalawang ticket ang ibibigay sa inyo :) hehe plus ang baggage stub nyo) (please see picture below)

Don't mind about the meal voucher stamp on my ticket hehehe - I got free meal at Dubai Airport courtesy of the emirates. All emirates passenger who have at least 2 hrs lay over is entitle for a free meal :)

4. Pay your Terminal Fee in Departure Booth - 550 pesos per person, ibibigay nyo ang passport nyo at ticket. I-isstapler nila sa ticket nyo yung terminal fee na resibo (picture below)

5. Proceed to Immigration Booth/to stamped your passport - Kukunin nila yung departure card at kung walng problema sa mga documents mo tatatakan ang passport mo :) minsan kahit na okey na ang lahat pag dating sa immigration karamihan nao-offload :( lalo na kung hindi kumpleto ang papeles. Tip: magsuot ng presentableng damit at sagutin lang sila ng maayos, mahinahon at totoo kung ano ang dahilan at kung bakit ka aalis ng bansa. Minsan hahanapan ka pa ng ibang documents lalo na kung ikaw walang trabaho at lalo na kung kasalukuyang may trabaho.  (picture below)

6. Proceed to final security check - Remove all your gadgets, belts, coin from your pocket pati sapatos. Minsan mahaba din ang pila rito. Hiwalay ang pila ng babae sa lalaki :). After all the security check pwede ka nang maglibot libot, maghayahay at :) pumunta sa iyong boarding gate at whola! enjoy your trip!! and the say bye now!!!

Since may connecting flight ako na Dubai-Stockholm at mahaba habang biyahe at paghihintay... hanggang dito nalng muna ang maibabahagi ko :) 

After 8 hrs lay over sa Dubai Airport another butt aching hours ride from Dubai to Stockholm naman!!

At last :) hugging my husband is the most happiest moment for me..
